Multi-sensory paintings and installations, which provides a holistic experience; facilitating physical touch and the intertwining of mind and body. My aim with this work is to disrupt and challenge the traditions of modern viewing practice and let viewers enjoy and experience the work in an environment without restrictions or imposed viewing rules. I feel that the cultural restraints concerning touch, combined with a reliance on sight, and the uncontrollable forces of technology, has detached us from the sensuous world and ultimately from ourselves.
My latest paintings all encompass fabric in one way or the other and my goal is to keep developing these paintings, concurrent with possible painting installations.
