Have this feeling that I need to do other things beside painting. Maybe I should work on some of my cubes...
Or maybe I should find a way to incorporate wool in my work? I've always wanted to do big installations with wool and fibres, but... not sure when I would have the time - or energy to do this..
It's probably after our MFA seminar on Saturday. Hearing about what everybody else was doing kind of made me wanting to do MORE, MORE, MORE. So basically I need more than 24 hours in a day......
But I'm knitting and crocheting - maybe I could find a way to do smaller arty things, instead of knitting and crocheting. On the other hand what I'm knitting is definitely art... I never use a pattern, and whatever I knit - never fit.... so it must be art :D
Maybe I could make cubes with paint and knitted material - that could be kind of fun. Think I have to try that - I can already imagine what it could look like.... YEAH !!! Practically I can also imagine how the corners of the cubes will stick out through the knitted material, so maybe I should find a way of working with round forms instead.... hmmmmmmm - I see a trip to Spotlight coming up :D
How about this for knitted art: Ivano Vitali
